Rumored from TMZ, LAPD will be increasing their security presence for the Emmy Awards as a response to the bombing in New York City. After the bombing on Saturday. LAPD has been cautioned to be on standby in the event that a credible threat occurs. Massive security has already been set up surrounding the venue according to a Law enforcement source. Adding additional uniformed officers to keep anyone even considering to disrupting  the show before, during, or after the ceremony will have second thoughts.

In addition to cops, there will be bomb sniffing dogs, federal law enforcement and SWAT teams present.
